First Love comes after years of live music and teaching dedicated to finding a sound that is rooted in blues, soul and jazz. Teachers and inspiration for this journey have been BB King, Albert King, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Ronnie Earl, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ray Charles, Duke Robillard, Tiny Grimes, Grant Green, George Benson and Wes Montgomery.
A special thanks goes to Manuel Pestrin and Michele Bonivento for their artistic sensibility and humane means of which the whole project was born.
